The Access to Justice Project was built on the initiatives that began during the preceding project on “Legal Literacy: Rights Advice and Information for the Poor People”. It focused on providing various free legal aid services, provided capacity building training for government officials at different levels of the administrative tier, engaged in raising the awareness of the public via face to face teachings of community members and broadcasting radio programs aimed at raising human rights awareness.
