The Center for Human Rights (CHR) of Addis Ababa University (AAU) was founded in 2008 and currently organized under the College of Law and Governance Studies. CHR generally seeks to advance human rights, rule of law, and democratic governance in Ethiopia through high-end research, teaching and community services. As part of its objectivesof providing quality academic, research and community services, CHR, in collaboration with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), is implementing a three-year project to support its teaching, research and community services. For the implementation of thisProject and its threecomponents [Multidisciplinary Human Rights Teaching and Training; Research, Policy and Practice Collaboration and Diffusion; Community Based Human Rights Promotion and Protection];the Center would like to hire motivated, competent and high-caliber professionals. The Project implementation covers the Center as well as 5sub-project areas in Addis Ababa, Adama, Hawassa, Ambo, and Debre Berhan.
Hence, interested and qualified applicantscan submit their application, which shall include cover letters (identifying the Code and the Position),original and copies of official work expereince and educational certificates/degrees and CVs, within 10 working days in person to the College of Law and Governance Studies, Human Resource Department at Sidist Kilo Campus.
The term of employment will be for one year with the possibility of extension.
